I grew up in Elk Grove, CA with my parents Heather and Jim Carda and two younger brothers Eric and Jack. My family has always supported me and are a HUGE reason I am where I am today.
Softball was introduced to me at a young age and has given me more than I could have ever dreamt of. Growing up, playing softball didn’t come easy to me, but I sure did love putting in the work and that ended up paying off…BIG TIME. The hard work, along with many other things, led me to receiving a scholarship to UCLA, which then led to the opportunity to play for Team USA after that. When I graduated from UCLA, I was the Pitching Coach at Cal Poly from 2015-2018, while playing for Team USA. Currently I am a member of the USA Olympic Softball Team and continuing to play professionally in Japan for Team Honda.
My journey has only just begun and I hope you will join me on it!
